Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with getting some info on volleyball games. You know, like scores, schedules, maybe some player stats. It wasn’t anything fancy, just wanted to see what I could pull together.

First, I started by just hitting up Google. You know, the usual “volleyball game information” kind of search. I figured I’d find some general websites, maybe some official league pages or something.
I found many websites, but the data was all over the place, I can not use them directly.
Digging a Little Deeper
I spent, I don’t know, a good hour just clicking around, trying different search terms, and generally feeling a bit lost. Finally, I thought, “Okay, I need to be more specific.”
- I tried looking for specific leagues, like “Professional Volleyball League scores.”
- Then I tried searching for specific teams.
- I even tried adding “live updates” or “real-time scores” to my searches.
I also tried to use some keywords like “statistics”, I found some other websites, they got more data of players.
It was just trial and error, really. I kept tweaking my searches, adding and removing words until I started getting better results. It wasn’t perfect, but I definitely learned a lot about how to find this kind of information. Next time, I’ll probably be a lot faster!
