Okay, here is my sharing about playing volleyball on the water:
So, the other day, my buddies and I were like, “Hey, let’s do something fun.” We are tired of always hanging out in the same place. We thought about playing volleyball, but it is boring that we always play it in the gym. Then, one of my friends was like, “How about volleyball on the water?” At first, I thought it is not possible, but we still decided to give it a shot.
First, we looked up some info online, and saw some guys did that before. We tried to find where to buy the equipment, but, man, it is not that easy to find a store. After driving around the whole afternoon, we finally found a store that sells the volleyball net that can be placed on the water.
Next, we went to the shop and bought the inflatable volleyball court. It came with a net and some sort of anchors to keep it in place. We also grabbed a waterproof volleyball because, you know, a regular one would just get all soggy and gross.
We drove to a lake nearby and started setting things up. Inflating the court was a bit of a workout, I am not gonna lie. We used an electric pump, but it still took a good while. Once it was up, we anchored it down. It is kind of a pain because the anchors kept shifting in the water. We had to readjust a few times to get it right.
Finally, we got to play. Let me tell you, playing volleyball in water is a whole different ball game. It is way harder than on land. Moving around in the water slows you down big time, and jumping? Forget about it. You get, like, no air. But that is what makes it so much fun. We were all slipping and sliding, laughing our asses off.

Make sure you have enough space and that the water is not too deep. It is a drag if you can not touch the bottom.
A waterproof ball is a must. And those inflatable courts are not cheap, but they are worth it. Also helps if you have a decent pump.
You will be tired. Moving in water is no joke. But it is a good kind of tired, you know? The kind where you feel like you have really done something.
Playing volleyball on the water turned out to be a blast. It is a great way to cool off in the summer and just have a good time with friends. If you are looking for something different to do, give it a try. Just be prepared to get wet and have a lot of laughs.
