Okay, so, I got this GVS Sport rear-view mirror thing. I had to mess with it a bit to get it right, and I figure I’d share what I did, start to finish.

First off, I went ahead and grabbed the mirror. It wasn’t too hard to find what I was looking for, you know? Just had to do some digging around until something caught my eye, which this one did, eventually. It looked pretty slick, so I decided to give it a shot.
Then, I got it out of the box, checked out all the parts and whatnot. It’s always a good idea to make sure everything’s there before you get too deep into it. No point in starting if you’re missing something, right? And good news, it was all there and ready to go!
- Mirror itself
- Mounting bracket
- Screws and a little wrench
Next up, I started putting it together. I had to figure out where I wanted it, which took a minute. I fiddled around, holding it up in different spots until I found the sweet spot. Once I had that locked in, I marked it off, real careful-like.
After that, it was time to mount the bracket. I lined it up with my marks and screwed it in. I made sure it was good and tight, you know, didn’t want that thing coming loose while I was driving.
Once the bracket was on, I attached the mirror. That part was pretty straightforward, just had to get it lined up and slide it into place. There were a couple more screws to tighten down, just to make sure it was secure.
Finally, I gave it a test run. Hopped in, adjusted it just right so I could see everything behind me. Took it for a little spin around the block, made a few more tweaks until it was perfect. Now I’ve got a clear view of what’s going on back there, no blind spots.
All in all
It was a bit of a process, but I got it done. Took some patience and a little elbow grease, but now it’s good to go. Feels good to have that checked off the list, and it definitely makes driving a little safer. If you’re thinking about doing this, just take your time and make sure you get everything lined up right. You’ll be glad you did.
