Well, let me tell you, these young’uns and their games. Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy things. But my grandkids, they’re always on about these two player volleyball games. Sounds kinda fun, I guess.
They say you can play with just two people, or even four. Jumping and diving all over the place. These games, they let you play with your friend, or even against the computer. They call it CPU. Don’t ask me what that stands for. It’s all magic to me.
My grandson, he told me the one who gets to five points first, they win. Sounds simple enough. Even I could probably keep track of that. He showed me one time, folks jumping all over the screen, trying to hit that ball. They call it “Volley Random” or something. Funny name, right? This two player game seems popular. I see everyone playing games like this.
And it’s not just one game. There are a whole bunch of them. They all look kinda the same to me, but the kids, they know the difference. “Hyper Gunsport,” “Leg Frogs” – what kind of names are those? And then there is “VLB,” “Kung Fu Volleyball”. There is even one called “Kraken Smash”. I don’t even know what some of these words mean. They sure like to smash things in these games. It is all about these two player volleyball games.
They say this website, “TwoPlayerGames,” has a whole heap of these games. The biggest bunch in the whole world, they claim. You don’t even need to put them on your computer, you just play them right there. It is all instant play. They say it is easy, just click and play. I see the young people play these games everywhere now. These volleyball games are surely popular.

They got all sorts of these games, not just the volleyball ones. But these volleyball ones, they seem to be real popular. All these games got two people playing. Even if you ain’t got a real person to play with, you can play with that computer thing. My grandkids are always playing it.
They say it’s easy to play these two player volleyball games, just one button. You just gotta press it at the right time, I guess. Makes those little people on the screen jump around. It does look kinda silly, with the way they move. They call it “physics.” I just call it goofy. It is sure fun to watch, I will give them that. It is fun when people play together. I heard there are even more of these games, “Spikair Volleyball,” and “Bounce Buds.” These games seem to be everywhere. It is hard to keep track. Seems like everyone’s playing them. All these games with two players, jumping, and hitting that ball. It is surely a craze. I see people talking about two player volleyball games all the time.
They say in real volleyball, you need six people on a team. But they also say you can play with just three. You gotta have your name on a list before you can play. They also flip a coin, or do that rock-paper-scissors thing, to see who starts. Sounds complicated.
There’s even a game they call “Volleyball Unbound.” It’s supposed to be like real beach volleyball, whatever that means. And they got something called “Mini Volleyball,” where you gotta work together as a team. Pass the ball around and try to score. All that teamwork and passing the ball. I do not know how people understand these rules. It is not like our old games.
These two player volleyball games, they’re a whole different world. But the kids, they seem to love ’em. And if it keeps ’em happy, well, that’s all that matters, I reckon. They have fun and that is good. These games are new to me, but maybe I will try them one day. Maybe I can beat my grandson.
