Okay, here is my sharing about building an Ashley furniture entertainment center:
So, I decided to upgrade my living room situation a while back. You know, make it look a bit more grown-up and organized. I’d been eyeing those fancy entertainment centers for a while and figured it was time to bite the bullet. After browsing online, I landed on Ashley Furniture because they have some decent-looking stuff that doesn’t completely break the bank.
First things first, I spent a good chunk of time browsing their website. They’ve got tons of options, from those big wall units that take up a whole room to smaller, more minimalist TV stands. I opted for something in between – a mid-sized entertainment center with some shelves, drawers, and a spot for my TV, of course. I even found one with an electric fireplace built in, which I thought was a nice touch for those cold winter nights.
After making my selection and placing the order, I waited a couple of weeks for it to arrive. When the delivery day finally came, it was like Christmas morning. They brought in these massive boxes, and I started to wonder if I had bitten off more than I could chew. But, I was determined.
I cleared out the living room, laid down a tarp to protect the floor, and got to work. The assembly instructions were… well, they were instructions. Let’s just say there was a lot of head-scratching and maybe a few curse words thrown around. I enlisted the help of a buddy, and together we managed to piece it all together.
It took us the better part of a day, but we finally got it done. And you know what? It actually looked pretty darn good. It was sturdy, the finish was nice, and it fit perfectly in the space I had planned for it. I loaded it up with my TV, some books, a few decorative items, and voila – instant living room upgrade.
- Step one: Browse and select the perfect entertainment center.
- Step two: Place the order and patiently wait for delivery.
- Step three: Prepare the space and gather your tools (and maybe a friend).
- Step four: Decipher the instructions and start assembling.
- Step five: Enjoy your new, stylish, and organized living room.
All in all, I’m pretty happy with my Ashley Furniture entertainment center. It wasn’t the easiest thing to put together, but the end result was worth it. Now, I’ve got a nice, designated spot for my TV and all my entertainment gear. Plus, it just makes the whole room look more put-together. If you’re thinking about getting an entertainment center, I’d say go for it. Just be prepared for a bit of assembly adventure!
They told me in a customer service chat that most of the upholstered stuff is made right here in the US, but a lot of the wood furniture is made in Vietnam.
Anyway, that’s my story about this entertainment center journey. Hope it helps someone out there who’s on the fence about getting one!
