Yesterday, I got a new volleyball, the Mikasa FIVB Official Game Volleyball. I’ve heard a lot about it and finally decided to give it a try. So, I’m gonna walk you through my experience with it.
Unboxing and First Impressions
When the package arrived, I quickly opened it. The ball came in a simple box, and I took it out immediately. The first thing I noticed was the bright yellow and blue color – really stands out. I held it in my hands, and the material felt really nice, kind of soft but grippy at the same time.
Checking the Details

- Material: Some kind of synthetic leather, that is soft and great feeling.
- Weight:It is just how offical ball should be,I think.
Playing with the Ball
I took the ball to the park to give it a real test. I started with some simple bumping and setting. It felt great – really responsive and easy to control. Then, I tried some serves and spikes. The ball flew straight and true, just like I wanted it to. It’s definitely different from the cheaper balls I’ve used before. It made playing so much more enjoyable.
Comparing with Other Balls
I’ve played with a lot of different volleyballs, but this one is special. The Mikasa feels more professional, you can feel the control so easy. It gives you a really solid hit every time. Other balls can feel too hard or too light, but this one gets it just right.
Final Thoughts
After spending the whole afternoon playing, I’m really happy with my new Mikasa volleyball.I just played with my friends, and it is fun. It makes a big difference in how the game feels,and it can help me to be a better volleyball player,I think.
