Today I tried to play a volleyball manager game, and it’s kinda fun.
First, I searched online and found this game called Volleyball Manager. It’s totally free, which is a good start. I downloaded the latest version, I guess it was Volleyball Manager 2014 or something like that.
So, after the download, I installed it, and started a new game. I can be the manager of a club or a national team, and I chose to manage a club team for the first try.
- The game is pretty simple. You get to manage the team, set up training, and arrange matches.
- You also need to look after players.
- There was a little problem with the installation process, after the installation, I followed the instructions step by step, and it worked out fine.
I played a few matches. The match simulation was not that fancy, it’s just some text and numbers, but you know what? It’s enough to give you the excitement. The matches consist of 3 games to 25, teams must win by 2 and there is a cap at 27.
I lost my first match, it was a bummer. But I learned a lot about how to set the lineup and stuff. I guess it takes some time to get used to the game mechanics.
Then I played a couple more matches. I won some, lost some. It’s quite challenging to find the right balance, but that’s what makes it fun, right?
Overall Experience
It’s a simple game, don’t expect amazing graphics or anything. But if you are into volleyball and like manager games, you might enjoy it. You can even play against other people online, which is pretty cool. I haven’t tried the online mode yet, but I will definitely give it a shot later.
So yeah, that’s my experience with this Volleyball Manager game. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s a good way to kill some time. If you are looking for a casual sports manager game, maybe give it a try.
