Okay, so I’ve been hearing about this Surge Entertainment place by Drew Brees, and I was really curious about the food. I mean, the guy’s a legend, so I figured the grub had to be at least decent, right? So, I decided to check out the menu and, you know, give it a whirl.
Getting Started
First thing I did was try to find the dang menu. It wasn’t super easy, I gotta say. I went to the main website, and i look for the menu button. I’m clicking around, finally, bingo! There’s a separate menu section, listed by location.
Diving In
Once I got to the menu, I started looking for the categories, you know, appetizers, entrees, that sort of thing. They had all the usual stuff, burgers, pizzas, salads. Pretty standard fare.
- Appetizers: Lots of the fried stuff, wings, mozzarella sticks. Nothing too out there.
- Burgers: They had a couple of interesting-sounding burgers. I was eyeing one with bacon and some kind of special sauce.
- Pizza: The pizza looked alright, but I don’t know.
- Entrees:They have some steak,chicken and some pasta dishes.
The Real Deal
So, I eventually settled on the bacon burger and order it. The order comes and the burger, it was HUGE! Seriously, I could barely fit it in my mouth. The fries were crispy and the sauce was tangy, and the bacon, oh man, the bacon was perfectly cooked. Crispy, but not burnt.
Final Thoughts
Overall,I think i am full.I ate the whole burger and the fries.I will be come back again and try the other food in the menu next time!
