Okay, here’s my blog post about my “academia sport” experiment, written in a casual, personal style, and using simple HTML tags:

So, I’ve been trying to combine studying with, like, actual physical activity. It’s called “academia sport,” I guess? Sounds fancy, but it’s really just me trying not to be a total couch potato while cramming for exams.
The Genesis of My Suffering (aka The Idea)
It all started when I realized I could barely walk up a flight of stairs without sounding like a dying walrus. And my brain felt like mush after hours of staring at textbooks. I figured, “Hey, maybe moving around will help?” Genius, I know.
The Experiment Begins (aka My Attempts)
- First Attempt: I tried reading while on the treadmill. Result: Nearly fell off multiple times. Coordination is apparently not my strong suit.
- Second Attempt: I thought, “Okay, squats while reviewing flashcards!” Result: My legs hated me, and I mixed up half the cards. Who knew “mitochondria” and “quadriceps” could sound so similar?
- Third attempt:I listened to the course while running. Result:I didn’t fall down the mountain, but I was sweating so much that I couldn’t hold on to my phone, and then my phone kept freezing, and I didn’t memorize anything.
A Glimmer of Hope (aka Something That Almost Worked)
Then, I tried something slightly less… ambitious. I started taking short, brisk walks outside between study sessions. Like, 10-15 minutes of just walking and letting my brain breathe. And guess what? It actually helped!
It wasn’t some magical solution, but I felt way more alert afterward. I could focus better, and my brain didn’t feel like it was going to explode. Plus, I got some fresh air, which is always a bonus.
The (Not-So-Grand) Finale
So, “academia sport” in its extreme forms? Maybe not for me. But incorporating regular, short bursts of movement into my study routine? That’s a keeper. I’m still figuring out the perfect balance, but at least I’m not collapsing after a study session anymore. Small victories, right?
I’m still experimenting, so maybe I’ll have a more impressive update later. But for now, I’m just happy to be slightly less sedentary and slightly more… awake. Wish me luck!
