Okay, so today I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately – St. Ignatius football. I’ve been following them for a while now, and it’s been quite a ride.

First off, I started digging into their recent games. I remember seeing something about them playing against Saint Francis and winning the CCS Open Division title. It was their first win since 2012, which is pretty cool. I guess they avenged their loss from last month against Saint Francis. Good for them!
Then, I looked up their schedule. I found out they had a game against Archbishop Moeller at Byers Field. That match was on a Friday, October 11. I made a note to watch it, but I got busy and totally forgot.
After that, I went down a rabbit hole of news about the 2024 OHSAA Tournament. Apparently, it has just started. I’m not sure what that means, but I saw a bunch of posts about St. Ignatius. It sounds like a big deal.
I also watched some videos online. I didn’t really understand how everything works, but I watched some match anyway. It looked like they had a comeback win against Serra last week. They are trying to win their fifth state title. That’s huge! Their opponent, Moeller, is also doing great, trying to get their 24th shutout in a row. Man, the game was tied 0-0 when I stopped watching.
So yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to with St. Ignatius football. It’s been interesting to follow their journey. I’m not a hardcore fan or anything, but I enjoy keeping up with their games and seeing how they do.
