Okay, so the other day, I was at a volleyball game, and I had this idea: What if we had, like, mini volleyballs to toss around during breaks? You know, something fun and easy to play with. So, I decided to make it happen. Here’s how it went down.
Finding the Right Balls
First, I needed to find some small balls. I thought about regular-sized volleyballs, way too big for what I wanted. I went to a local sporting goods store and browsed around.
- I looked at mini basketballs – too hard.
- I checked out tennis balls – might work, but a little too small and bouncy.
- Then I found these soft, foam balls, about the size of a grapefruit. Perfect!
I grabbed a bunch of them – different colors, just to make it more interesting.
Testing Them Out
Back home, I get my family for an experiment.
- We started throwing them around the living room.
- My kid immediately tried to spike one – classic!
- We practiced some gentle tosses and bumps.
