Yesterday, I got myself into something quite interesting. I’d been hearing about this new development, Residencial Sport Villas do Monte, in Monte Mor, and my curiosity got the best of me. So, I decided to go and check it out.

First off, I did a bit of digging online. Found out it’s a gated community, still in the launching phase. They’re selling plots, about 160 square meters each. The place is supposed to have 24-hour security and a bunch of planned spaces like a playground, a club, and a party hall. Sounds pretty fancy, right?
Starting the Adventure
So, I set out to Monte Mor. The drive there was smooth, and as I got closer, I started seeing these signs for the development. Got me a little excited, not gonna lie. When I arrived, the first thing that hit me was the sheer size of the place. It’s huge!
Exploring the Place
I started walking around, just taking it all in. I saw a lot of construction activity, workers buzzing around, laying down roads, and setting up the infrastructure. They’ve got this whole area marked off for the future clubhouse and the party hall. I could imagine people hanging out there, having a good time.
Then there was the nature part. Man, they weren’t kidding when they said “exuberant nature.” There are trees everywhere, and you can tell they’re trying to keep as much of the natural landscape as possible. It felt really peaceful, just walking around, with all that greenery.
Talking to People
I bumped into one of the sales guys on site. We chatted a bit, and he showed me the plans for the different types of villas they’re going to build. They looked pretty swanky, I must say. He also mentioned that they’re emphasizing the sports aspect, with plans for courts and maybe even a small track. That’s a big plus for someone who likes to stay active.
Wrapping Up
After a couple of hours of exploring and chatting, I decided to head back. On the way out, I took one last look at the place. It’s still very much a work in progress, but you can see the potential. It looks like it’s going to be a pretty nice place to live, especially if you’re into nature and sports.

- Pros:
- Lots of green space.
- Focus on sports and activities.
- 24-hour security.
- Cons:
- Still under construction.
- Might be a bit out of the way for some people.
All in all, it was a good day. I got to see something new, learn a bit about real estate development, and enjoy some fresh air. If you’re in the market for a new place and you’re around Monte Mor, might be worth checking out Residencial Sport Villas do Monte. Who knows, maybe we’ll be neighbors someday!
