Alright, guys, so I finally got around to playing that “beach volleyball game” on PS4 everyone’s been talking about. Here’s how it went down, from start to finish.

First, I grabbed the game. I mean. easy steps.
Then, booted up my trusty PS4. You know the drill, the usual whooshing sound, the blue light… all that jazz.
Getting Started
Once the game loaded, I jumped straight into the main menu. So many options! Career mode, quick match, online play… I was like a kid in a candy store.
I decided to start with a quick match. Just to get a feel for the controls, you know? I picked a team – went for the underdogs, because, why not? – and chose a sunny beach location. Gotta have that authentic vibe, right?
The Gameplay
Okay, so the game started, and I was immediately mashing buttons. Took me a few minutes to figure out the serving. It’s all about timing, apparently. I kept whiffing it, sending the ball flying into the net or way out of bounds. Hilarious, but also frustrating.
After a few embarrassing serves, I finally got the hang of it. Started aiming my shots, trying to outsmart the AI opponents. They were pretty good, I gotta admit. Lots of diving, spiking, and blocking. It was intense!

- Serving: Figuring this out was key. Timing is everything.
- Bumping: Pretty straightforward, just get under the ball.
- Setting: This was trickier. Took some practice to get the ball to go where I wanted.
- Spiking: The most satisfying part! When you time it right, it’s awesome.
- Blocking: I was mostly terrible at this, but I did manage to block a few shots.
I lost the first match. Badly. But I wasn’t discouraged. I played another one, and another one… slowly but surely, I started to get better. I even won a few games!
My Overall Thoughts
Honestly, It’s super fun, once you get past the initial learning curve. The graphics are pretty good, the gameplay is engaging, and it’s just a blast to play. I’ll definitely be playing more of this in the future. Maybe I’ll even try the career mode next time.
