Okay, so today I wanna talk about something I’ve been diving into lately – the OSSAA basketball playoffs. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but a fun one!

First off, I started by trying to figure out where to even find info about these games. I mean, I knew they were a big deal, especially for high school basketball in Oklahoma, but I was clueless about the details.
I spent some time browsing, and found that the Oklahoma Sports Network is available on app stores, even on Roku. That’s cool, but I haven’t used it yet.
After looking around, I found that there was some information about the game, such as the history, schedule, bracket, and so on. It looks like the regional round started on Thursday in Class A, but I don’t know much about it. The district playoffs will be held from February 8th to 10th. I might follow up on the schedule later.
What I did get a handle on was the basic structure. We’ve got different classes, like Class A, B, 3A, and so on. And the playoffs go through different stages – districts, regionals, and so forth. It’s all starting to make sense now.
I also learned that these games are set to begin in Class 3A on February 16 and 17. I think I’m gonna try to catch some of these games. Also, I found that they offer live streams, which require sending an email request to vsiven@*, and the approved video links will be on the OSSAA website 24 hours before the games. I sent an email last night, and I haven’t received a reply yet, maybe I should check it out later.
So yeah, that’s my OSSAA basketball playoffs journey so far. It’s been a lot of figuring things out as I go, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. It’s pretty cool to see how passionate people are about high school sports here in Oklahoma.
