Okay, so yesterday I got into this “extreme contact sport” thing, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. I’ve called this session “02” because it’s my second time diving into this particular madness.
The Start
It all started with me finding this group online. They meet up every week to do, well, pretty intense physical stuff. I’m always up for a challenge, so I decided to check it out.
Getting Ready
First, I had to gear up. That meant:
- Digging out my old mouthguard.
- Finding some decent padding.
- Making sure my shoes weren’t going to fall apart mid-action.
The Action
We met up at this park. It was clear from the beginning, this will be tough. Then the games kicked off, it was full-on.
People were running, jumping, tackling,It was crazy!
I got knocked down a few times, ended up with a few scrapes.
But, I also managed to make some good moves, score some point for my team!
The Aftermath
Afterward, I was completely exhausted. I iced my bruises, took a long, hot shower, and basically collapsed onto the couch.
Even though I’m super sore today, I’m already thinking about the next session. It’s addictive in a weird way.I will be back!
