Okay, so here’s my little adventure trying to watch the Italy vs. Russia women’s volleyball friendly game.
First, I grabbed my phone and started searching. I just typed in “live women volleyball friendly game italy x russia” hoping for the best. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure if the game was today, or if it was even being broadcast anywhere.
I scrolled through a bunch of search results. Lots of news articles, some older match results… nothing that looked like a live stream. I started to get a little discouraged. I thought to my self, “Man, it should’t be hard.”
Then, I decided to be a little more specific. Maybe add the data? I tried that, added data to my serach, but still, it’s just showing some random stuff.
I spent a good 20 minutes just clicking on different things, opening new tabs, and mostly just getting frustrated. So hard to find things!
My Next Step
I figured, “Okay, maybe it’s not being officially streamed anywhere.” So I went down the rabbit hole of trying to find, um, less official streams. You know, the kind that might suddenly disappear mid-match? Yeah, those.

And I got nothing, just lots of dead ends or sites that looked super sketchy. So unsafty, all want me to download some app, or click on something that I should not click.
Finally, I gave up. I figured maybe I’d just catch the highlights later. It’s a friendly match, after all. Not the end of the world if I missed it live. I closed all the tabs, put down my phone, and decided to make a cup of tea instead. A little disappointed, but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes, right?
