Alright, so I’ve been meaning to get into this whole “kshsaa state basketball 2024” thing, you know, keep up with the local sports scene. I figured, why not document the whole shebang? Might be fun to look back on. I started out clueless, not gonna lie.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to find the schedule. I hit up the KSHSAA website, and man, it was a bit of a mess. But, eventually I dug through all the menus and found the brackets for the state tournament.
- Figured out when the games were.
- Checked which teams were playing.
- Tried to remember the classes from high school.
Diving Deeper
After I had the schedule down, I wanted to know more about the teams. This is where things got interesting. I started looking up local news articles and social media posts about the different schools. Found some pretty cool stories about the players and their journeys to the state tournament.
- Read up on team histories.
- Looked for standout players.
- Checked out some prediction articles – those were a hoot.
Following the Games
So, the tournament started, and I tried to watch as many games as possible. Some I watched live, others I caught the replays online. I kept notes on the games, you know, scores, big plays, that sort of thing. It was actually pretty exciting, even though I’m not the biggest basketball fanatic.
- Watched a bunch of games.
- Made notes on how the games went.
- Started to get a feel for which teams were really strong.
Keeping Track
I kept all my notes and stuff in a simple document. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a place to jot down my thoughts and observations. I also saved some of the articles I found interesting.
- Kept a running document of scores and notes.
- Saved links to interesting articles and social media posts.
- Tried to organize it all so it made sense.
The End Result
In the end, I had this pretty decent record of the whole tournament. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine. I could see how the tournament progressed, which teams surprised everyone, and which players really shined. It was a fun little project, and I actually learned a lot about Kansas high school basketball.
- Felt pretty good about my little project.
- Learned a lot more about local basketball than I expected.
- Thought about doing it again next year – maybe even better.
So yeah, that’s my whole experience with the “kshsaa state basketball 2024” thing. It started as just a random idea and turned into something pretty cool. Hope you got a kick out of my journey.
