Okay, so, let’s talk about Jasmine Jordan’s wedding. You know, Michael Jordan’s daughter. I got really into planning this whole thing, just as a fun project, you know? It was a bit of a wild ride, I gotta say.
First off, I dove into figuring out when this shindig was happening. Turns out, it was May 28, 2024. Nice spring wedding, right? Then I started thinking about the venue. Now, this is Jasmine Jordan we’re talking about, so it couldn’t be just any old place. It had to be fancy, but also kind of cool and modern, matching her vibe.
Guest List
- Next, I moved on to the guest list. Of course, you got the whole Jordan clan, then there’s Rakeem’s family (that’s her husband, by the way). And because they have a son, little Rakeem Michael, born in 2019, he’s obviously on the list. I imagined it would be a mix of family, close friends, and probably some big names from the basketball world. It’s gotta be a pretty exclusive list, but also full of people who really matter to them.
I spent a good chunk of time just reading about Jasmine and Rakeem. Found out she’s the eldest of Michael Jordan’s daughters. They’ve been together for a while, and seem super solid. She works for the Jordan Brand, which is pretty awesome. Apparently, MJ was super protective of her growing up, and now she’s a mom herself! I also read somewhere, the planning stage, a lot of stuff is just a lot of details, you know? It can be crazy for most of the people.
Anyway, planning this out, even just in my head, was way more involved than I thought. I got a checklist – one of those “ultimate wedding planning” things – and started working through it. I mean, it’s overwhelming how much goes into a wedding. You’ve got to pick out colors, flowers, food, music… it’s a lot! Even I tried to stay organized, I still felt a little bit crazy.
I realized pretty quickly that even though it was just a fun little project for me, planning a real wedding is a huge undertaking. But it was cool to think about all the details and imagine what Jasmine and Rakeem’s big day would be like. A spring wedding for a power couple like them? It had to be amazing, and I think I did a pretty good job pulling it all together, at least on paper!
