Alright, let me tell you about this little project I got myself into. So, I signed up to coach the Jackson County Panthers 10U football team. Yeah, you heard that right, 10U! These kids are young, but man, are they eager.

First off, I started looking into the North Georgia Youth Football Association. I had to get up to speed with the rules and regulations, you know? I found the website, poked around a bit. They’ve got all sorts of information there, like the board members and meeting minutes. I also checked out the 2024 10U standings, just to get a feel for the competition.
Then, I dove into planning the season. We are going all out this year! I’ve been jotting down ideas, thinking of drills, and basically getting hyped up. I made a few posts on my social media too, saying things like, “Exciting things in store for our 10U season!” and “10U Panthers looking better than ever. It’s going to be an awesome year. #gopanthers.” Just to get everyone pumped, you know?
- Gathering Intel: I spent a good chunk of time on the North Georgia Youth Football Association’s website. Lots of useful stuff there.
- Planning: Started mapping out the season. Drills, practice schedules, the whole nine yards.
- Social Media Buzz: Posted some updates to get the team and parents excited.
I also looked up some local sports news. Found an article from Thursday, January 16, that mentioned youth sports. It’s always good to stay in the loop with what’s happening around town. Plus, I checked out the coverage of Jackson County High School sports. They have everything from baseball to swimming. Got me thinking about the future of these 10U kids.
Getting the Schedule Down
One of the big things was figuring out the schedule. I found a site where I could see the Panthers’ schedule, complete with start times and all that. It’s all about organization, right? Gotta have those times locked in so everyone knows where to be and when. I am also going to make sure the kids had all the game schedules printed out.
Honestly, I’m pretty stoked about this season. These kids have so much energy, and I’m just trying to channel it in the right direction. We’re going to have a blast, and hopefully, we’ll see some great plays out on the field. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes. Who knows, maybe we’ll even take home some wins!
I saw the 2023 10U standings and some information of 7th. That made me think about my plans for the future. I need to find some ways to help these kids improve and grow.
So yeah, that’s my story about getting involved with the Jackson County Panthers 10U football team. It’s been a whirlwind of planning, researching, and getting excited. Let’s see what this season brings!
