Okay, so, about this “haunted basketball court on Tinker Head” thing… It all started when my family and I decided to take a little trip to Conneaut, Ohio. We were heading towards this place called Tinker’s Hollow. I’d heard some whispers about it being haunted, you know, the usual spooky stories. Honestly, I’m into that kind of stuff, I enjoy listening to Spooked some episodes, especially Night Owl is pretty good and Let’s Not Meet sometimes.
We got to Tinker’s Hollow, and let me tell you, the vibe was already a bit… off. You know that feeling when you walk into a place, and it’s just got this weird energy? That’s what it was like. We found the basketball court pretty easily. It was this old, run-down court, kind of in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trees. Creepy, right?
So, we started just kind of hanging out, shooting some hoops. Nothing weird happened at first. But then, as it got darker, things started to get a little strange. I swear I heard these weird noises, like whispers, coming from the woods. And then, my little sister, she’s always been a bit sensitive to this stuff, she said she saw something move in the shadows. I tried to convince my family somethings, but they were all quite stubborn.
We decided to stick around a bit longer, just to see if anything else would happen. I mean, we drove all this way, right? We set up our phones to record, hoping to catch something. And that’s when things got really weird. My phone started glitching out, the screen flickering on and off. And then, we all heard it – this loud, banging noise, like someone was dribbling a basketball, but there was no one there.
At that point, we were all pretty freaked out. We packed up our stuff and got out of there as fast as we could. I checked the recordings on our phones later, and you could actually hear the banging noise on one of them. It was faint, but it was definitely there. And on my sister’s phone, there was this weird, shadowy figure in the background of one of the videos. It was blurry, but it definitely looked like… something.
So yeah, that’s my story about the haunted basketball court on Tinker Head. It was a pretty wild experience. I don’t know if it was actually haunted or if we were just imagining things, but it was definitely one of the creepiest things that’s ever happened to me. And one thing’s for sure, I don’t think I’ll be going back to Tinker’s Hollow anytime soon. It’s a good story to tell, though, right?
