Okay, so I’ve been trying to get back in shape, and I decided to try this “Above Sport” thing I saw, you know? It sounded cool, all about pushing your limits and stuff. So, I figured, why not give it a shot?

First, I looked up what I could, just to get a basic idea. Found some general exercise routines and tips. I wasn’t looking for anything crazy specific, just something to get me started.
Getting Started (aka The Hard Part)
The first day, man, it was rough. I started with some simple stretches, you know, the stuff you learned in gym class, arm circles, toe touches, that kind of deal. Then I went for a brisk walk around the block. I’m not gonna lie, I was already winded, but I kept going.
- Day 1: Walked for 20 minutes. Felt like death.
- Day 2: Walked 25 minutes. Added some light jogging intervals. Still felt like death, but slightly less.
- Day 3: 30-minute walk/jog. Did some push-ups (like, 5) and sit-ups (maybe 10?). My body was screaming.
The Grind
I stuck with it, though. Every day, I tried to do a little bit more. I increased the jogging intervals, added a few more reps to the push-ups and sit-ups. Some days were better than others. There were days I really didn’t want to, but I forced myself to get out there and at least do something.
After a couple of weeks, I actually started to see some changes. I could jog for longer without feeling like I was going to collapse. I could almost do 10 push-ups in a row. That was a big deal, let me tell you.
Feeling the Results
It’s not like I’m suddenly a super athlete or anything, but I definitely feel better. More energy, sleeping better, all that good stuff. This “Above Sport” thing, it’s more about just pushing yourself a little bit each day, seeing what you can do. It’s not about being the best, it’s about being better than you were yesterday. I’m still figuring things out, still experimenting with different exercises, but I’m actually enjoying it. It’s a work in progress, but I’m getting there.
