Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this here 21 Laps Entertainment. It’s one of them Hollywood things, makin’ movies and them TV shows, you know? Run by some fella named Shawn Levy, sounds like a fancy name, don’t it?
They make all sorts of things, these 21 Laps folks. Heard they made that one, what’s it called… Stranger Things. Lots of folks talkin’ ’bout that one. Must be doin’ somethin’ right over there, gettin’ all that attention. They put it on that Netflix thing, where you watch shows on your phone or your computer. My grandkids, they’re always on that Netflix, watchin’ all sorts of things. This 21 Laps Entertainment, they’re tied up with Netflix, makin’ shows just for them, I reckon.
Now, I don’t know much about makin’ movies, but it sure seems like a lot of work. All them cameras and lights and people runnin’ around. This Shawn Levy fella, he must be a busy one, runnin’ that whole 21 Laps Entertainment operation. They got a whole mess of people workin’ for ’em, makin’ sure everything gets done. They say he used to make those family movies, like Cheaper by the Dozen. I reckon those were alright. Then he got into this Stranger Things, which is a bit different, ain’t it?
They got a whole list of things they done made, this 21 Laps Entertainment. I seen some of the names, like Big Fat Liar. Sounded kinda silly if you ask me. And somethin’ called Just Married. Probably one of them romance things. Not really my cup of tea, but I guess some folks like that kinda stuff. Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy movies. We just had the radio, and we were happy with that.
Seems like they been around for a while, this 21 Laps Entertainment. Started back in, oh, I don’t know, early 2000s, I reckon. Time sure does fly, don’t it? They were makin’ movies back then, and now they’re makin’ all these shows for Netflix. Things sure do change, don’t they?

- They made a movie called Big Fat Liar.
- They been around since the early 2000s.
This 21 Laps Entertainment, they’re based out in Los Angeles. That’s where all them Hollywood folks are, makin’ their movies and TV shows. Big city, lots of people. I can’t imagine livin’ in a place like that. Too much hustle and bustle for me. I like things a little more quiet, you know? They probably got all sorts of fancy equipment out there. Big cameras and lights. We didn’t have none of that when I was growing up. We had to make our own fun, you know?
Heard they were thinkin’ about workin’ with other folks, this 21 Laps Entertainment, but then they decided to stick with Netflix. Must be a good deal they got with them. They must like workin’ together, makin’ all them shows. Business is business, I reckon. You gotta do what’s best for you, right?
They work with another company too, some company called Monkey Massacre or somethin’ like that. They make Stranger Things together with those 21 Laps Entertainment folks. It’s all a bit confusin’ to me, all these companies workin’ together. But I guess that’s how they do things in Hollywood. They got all these different companies, and they all work together to make these movies and shows. It’s a whole different world out there, ain’t it?
I don’t know what else to tell you about this 21 Laps Entertainment. They make movies, they make TV shows, they work with Netflix. That’s about all I know. It’s all a bit much for me, all this Hollywood stuff. But I guess some folks are interested in it. My grandkids, they sure do like that Stranger Things show. They’re always talkin’ about it. So, I guess this 21 Laps Entertainment, they must be doin’ somethin’ right. They’re keepin’ people entertained, and that’s what matters, right?
Anyway, that Shawn Levy better watch out, workin’ too hard ain’t good for nobody. You gotta slow down sometimes, enjoy life a little. That’s what I always say. But what do I know? I am just watchin’ these things happen. This 21 Laps Entertainment, it’s a big deal, I guess. They are making things happen. They are making money, making movies, and that Stranger Things show.
