Okay, so, today I wanted to mess around with an old game I used to play – International Volleyball 2014. I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic lately, and I figured, why not try to get it running on my PC? Here’s how it went down.

First off, I started hunting around for the game installer. I clicked on a bunch of buttons that said “DOWNLOAD” – you know how it is. After a bit of clicking, I finally got it.
Next up, I extracted the downloaded file. It was compressed, so I used that trusty old program, you know the one everyone uses, to unzip it to my desktop. It took a little while, but not too long.
After extracting, I ran the file. It was pretty straightforward – just a matter of clicking “Next” a few times. It gave me some options, but I mostly just went with the defaults, you know?
- I looked through the options in the installer but didn’t see anything too important.
- I made sure to note where it was installing, just in case I needed to find the files later.
- I waited for the progress bar to finish, it felt like it was taking forever, but it was probably just a few minutes.
Once the installation was done, I launched the game. It took me back – the graphics were a bit dated, but it was definitely the game I remembered.
Game Experience
It’s a pretty basic volleyball sim, nothing too fancy. You can pick teams from different countries, which is cool. I picked a few of my favorites and played a couple of matches. Six-on-six, just like the real thing. The controls are simple enough, but it still took me a bit to get back into the swing of things.
The game has a few different modes, but I mostly stuck to quick matches. I mean, I wasn’t about to start a whole tournament or anything. It was fun for a quick trip down memory lane.

All in all, it was a successful little project. I got the game up and running, played a few matches, and relived some old memories. If you’re feeling nostalgic for some old-school volleyball action, maybe give it a try. Just don’t expect any cutting-edge graphics or super in-depth gameplay. It’s simple, but it does the trick!
