Okay, so the other day I was trying to figure out just how long a typical volleyball game lasts. I mean, I’ve watched a few, but I never really timed them, you know?

So, I started digging around. First thing I did was just hit up the internet. What I found out is pretty interesting. Unlike, say, soccer or basketball, there’s no actual time limit for a volleyball game. It’s all about points.
Here’s the deal:
- A rally, you know that back-and-forth, keeps going until someone messes up. Either the ball hits the floor on their side, or they smack it out of bounds.
- But, here’s the kicker – each set, those individual parts of the game, usually take somewhere between 20 to 30 minutes. That was the answer I find out!
I’m not sure how long the volleyball game is in detail, so I searched the Internet and found out that a match could take up to three hours. Man, that’s a long time!
