Okay, so you wanna know how to kick off a volleyball game? I’ve been playing for a while now, and setting up the game is almost muscle memory at this point. Here’s how I usually do it, from start to finish:

Get the Gear Together
First things first, I grab all the equipment. This means:
- Volleyball: Obviously, you need a ball! I usually have a couple, just in case.
- Net and Poles :Setting the net is very import.
- Boundary Markers: I used some cones to mark the court lines.
Set Up the Court
Next, I find a good, flat spot. We usually play on a grass field. I had already:
- Put the poles into the ground. Making sure they’re nice and secure.
- Then, I unfold the net and attach it to the poles.
- Finally,I placed the markers.
Choose Teams
Now for the fun part – picking teams! I usually just have everyone line up, and then we count off by ones and twos. All the ones are on one team, all the twos on the other. Sometimes I choose the team by myself.
Decide Who Serves First
To figure out who serves first, I usually just do a quick coin toss. Winner gets to choose – serve first, or pick which side of the court they want.I sometimes play rock paper scissors.
Start Playing!
And that’s it! Once the serving team is decided, the server stands behind the back line, and the game begins! Everyone gets into their positions, ready to bump, set, and spike!
That’s pretty much my whole process, from gathering the stuff to actually starting the * is simple, but It works!
