Okay, so today was all about hitting the beach for some serious volleyball action. It’s scorching hot, perfect weather for it!

First things first, I gathered my crew. It’s always more fun with a bunch of friends, right? We made a group text, decided on a time, and everyone was in. Getting a head count is key!
Gear Up
- Sunscreen: Absolutely essential. Don’t wanna end up looking like a lobster. I went with SPF 50.
- Water: Lots of it. Gotta stay hydrated out there in the sun, or you’ll be gasping.
- A good volleyball: We don’t use a flat, old ball. We use a pretty decent one, makes the game way better.
- Towels: Needed a place to sit and, dry off after play.
Next, we headed down to the beach. We found a spot, not too crowded, and set up the net. Setting the net is always harder than in my mind, but finaly, we secure it and tighten it. That took a little bit of teamwork, but we got it up eventually.
We started playing, just casually bumping the ball around at first to warm up. Then, we divided into teams – shirts versus skins, classic beach volleyball style. Haha!
The games were intense! Lots of diving, spiking, and some pretty epic saves. I even managed to pull off a few decent spikes myself – feeling pretty proud of those. We weren’t keeping score, but just, that’s not the point, you know? It was all about having fun and enjoying the game.
After a couple of hours, we were all pretty beat. Sun, sand, and volleyball – it’s a killer combo. We packed up the net, chugged the last of our water, and headed home, covered in sand and feeling great. Definitely gonna do this again soon!
