Okay, so I’ve been trying to find some good female entertainers around here, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey.

First off, I started by just hitting up Google, you know, the usual “female entertainers near me” search. I got a bunch of ads, mostly. One that kept popping up was something like, “Reg. $250, Save Over $150. Waves Daily Deals – Buy Now.” I don’t know what “Waves” is, but it seemed like they were pushing some kind of deal. I saw that ad like a million times.
Then I stumbled upon this site called GigSalad. They claimed to have the “best selection” of entertainers, everything from “Children’s Party Entertainers” to “Corporate Acts,” “Comedians,” and “Magicians.” Sounded promising, right?
So, I dug into GigSalad. I looked at a few profiles, trying to find someone who looked like they’d be a good fit. It was a mixed bag, honestly. Some of them had great pictures and videos, but others were pretty sparse on details. That made it tough to really get a sense of their vibe.
- I reached out to a couple of them.
- One got back to me pretty quick, which was cool.
- We chatted a bit about what I was looking for, and she seemed really nice.
- We’ll see if anything comes of it.
The other one I contacted? Radio silence. I guess not everyone’s on top of their messages. It’s fine, part of the process, I guess.
Meanwhile, I kept seeing that darn “Waves” ad. “Reg. $250, Save Over $150.” It was starting to haunt me. I still don’t really know what it is, but I’m starting to get curious, just because of how often I saw it.
My Current Status
So, where am I at now? Well, I’ve got one potential lead from GigSalad, which is something. I’m also thinking about checking out some local venues to see if they have any recommendations. And I’m kind of, sort of, considering looking into that “Waves” thing, just to figure out what the deal is.

It’s been a bit of a process, but I’m not giving up. I’m sure there are some great female entertainers out there, and I’m determined to find them. It just takes a little digging, a little patience, and maybe a little bit of luck. I will update the status if I get the one.
