Alright, folks, gather ’round, gather ’round! Today, I’m gonna walk you through my little adventure with the Gopher Football 3D view thing. Now, I’m no tech whiz, but I do love my Gophers, and I wanted to see what this whole 3D experience was all about.
So, first things first, I needed to find where this 3D view even was. I did a bit of digging, just a simple search, really. I found out that it’s something to do with the official athletics website for the University of Minnesota Gophers.
Now, I started poking around the site. It’s got all the usual stuff – schedules, scores, player profiles, you name it. They even had the schedule listed there. Apparently, they are playing against Buffalo and other teams soon.
Then there’s this “Upcoming Events” section. They show that they have some basketball stuff going on. This made me think that the 3D thing might not just be for football.
I was reading through a bunch of articles. They’re talking about how much money these assistant coaches are making. Man, it’s a lot! And there’s some buzz about how the team’s been doing recently. They’ve had a couple of wins, even one against a team ranked number 11. Pretty cool, huh? I also read something about them throwing for 1,864 yards, which is great, I guess.
Anyway, back to the 3D view. I couldn’t find it at first, and then I stumbled upon something that said, “1-800-U-GOPHER; BUY TICKETS; CONTACT US”.
Here’s what I did:

- Clicked on “Section Map” – Figured that’s where I’d find something related to the stadium view.
- Saw an “ON/OFF” toggle – Played around with it a bit, didn’t see much change at first.
- Kept exploring – I’m stubborn, you see. I knew there had to be something more to this.
Finally, I found it! There was this little button hidden away, and when I clicked it, boom! The whole stadium popped up in 3D. It was pretty neat, I gotta say. I could move around, zoom in and out, and see the whole field from different angles. It’s like being right there in the stands, but without the overpriced hot dogs. I noticed a little disclaimer at the bottom of the site, too.
So, there you have it. That’s my journey to finding and using the Gopher Football 3D view. It took a bit of clicking around, but it was worth it. If you’re a Gophers fan, or just curious about this 3D stuff, give it a try. It’s a fun little way to get closer to the action.
