I was messing around online the other day, just killing time, and got sucked into looking up college basketball schedules. You know, one of those rabbit holes. Anyway, I ended up spending way too much time on the Texas A&M men’s basketball schedule, so I figured I might as well share what I found.
First off, I started by just typing “Texas A&M men’s basketball schedule” into Google. The top results that showed up were from the official Texas A&M Athletics site and ESPN, so I started clicking around those.
Finding the Schedule
- I found the full 2024-25 schedule on ESPN. It’s got all the game times listed, which is super helpful. I hate when you have to dig around just to find out when a game starts.
- The Texas A&M Athletics site, had the schedule too. I guess that’s where ESPN probably gets their info, but it was good to see it straight from the source, you know?
Looking for Tickets
Then I got curious about tickets. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see a game live? So I did some more searching.
- I saw a bunch of ads for ticket resale sites, but I usually steer clear of those. Too many scams out there.
- Then I found out that a lot of places sell college basketball tickets, and Texas A&M is a pretty big deal in college basketball.
- I noticed one site mentioned a game on December 14th against Purdue. I think that’s the one I’ll try to go to.
- There’s another game against the Texas Longhorns on January 4th. That’s a classic rivalry game. I bet the tickets for that one are expensive.
Streaming Options
Just in case I can’t snag tickets, I also looked into how to watch the games online.
- Apparently, you can watch Texas A&M vs. Texas live on ESPN. Good to know.
- And if you don’t have cable, you can stream the game on Fubo. Nice to have options.
Other Random Stuff I Learned
While I was clicking around, I found out a few other things about Texas A&M basketball:
- They’re part of the Southland Conference (SLC) in Division I of the NCAA.
- They play their home games at the University Field House on campus. I wonder how big that place is.
- Apparently, the Longhorns have a ton of wins in their history, like a lot. They are ranked 17th in total victories among all NCAA Division I college basketball programs. I didn’t know that before.
So yeah, that was my deep dive into the Texas A&M men’s basketball schedule. It started as just a way to kill time, but I ended up learning a bunch of stuff. Maybe I’ll even try to catch a game this season. We’ll see!
