Okay, so, VMX 2024, it’s like, this big thing for vets, right? I saw they had some entertainment lined up, and I thought, “Why not? Let’s check it out.” It’s always good to see what’s new, you know? Maybe learn a thing or two, even if it’s just from the entertainment part.

So, I got myself registered. It was pretty easy, just filled out some forms online. Paid the fee, and bam, I was in. Then came the waiting. I marked the dates on my calendar, and, honestly, I was pretty hyped about it.
When the day finally came, I got there early. Didn’t want to miss anything, you see. The place was buzzing, lots of people, all vets or somehow in the field. It was kinda cool to be around so many people who get what you do, you know?
The Entertainment Part
Now, about the entertainment. They had this band playing, some local group, I think. They were pretty good, got people moving. I even saw some folks dancing! It wasn’t just music, though.
- They had a comedian too. This guy was hilarious, making jokes about animals and vet stuff. I mean, you had to be there, but trust me, it was funny.
- And get this, they had a magician. Now, I’m not usually one for magic shows, but this one was different. He did tricks with animals, like, making a rabbit disappear and reappear. It was wild!
The whole thing was a nice break from the usual lectures and workshops. I got to relax a bit, laugh, and just enjoy the vibe. Plus, I bumped into some old friends from vet school. We hadn’t seen each other in ages, so that was a nice bonus.
The best part?
I actually learned something. Not from the entertainment itself, but from the people I met while enjoying it. We talked about our practices, shared some tips, you know, the usual vet stuff. But it felt different, more casual, more real.

So, yeah, VMX 2024’s entertainment? It was more than just fun. It was a chance to connect, to learn, and to remind myself why I got into this whole vet thing in the first place. Would I go again? Absolutely. Maybe next year, they’ll have even more cool stuff.
