Okay, so I’ve been wanting to play some old-school volleyball games, you know, the kind you find on those Game Boy Advance emulators. I remember loving those games as a kid, simple but fun.

First, I fired up my laptop. Gotta start somewhere, right?
Finding an Emulator
I started searching for a good GBA emulator. I’ve used a few in the past, but I wanted to see if there was anything new or better out there.
I read through a few forums. I finally settled on one that seemed pretty popular and easy to use.
Getting the Games
Next up, I needed the actual games, I dug around some more and finally found a couple of volleyball ROMs that looked promising.
Putting It All Together
- I downloaded the emulator and installed it. No problems there, it was pretty straightforward.
- Then, I made sure the ROM files are in the correct format.
- I opened up the emulator and loaded one of the volleyball ROMs.
And… it worked! I was playing a GBA volleyball game right there on my laptop. The controls were a little clunky at first, but I quickly got the hang of it. It’s amazing how these old games can still be so much fun.

I spent a good hour or two just messing around, trying out different teams and strategies. It’s definitely a nice way to kill some time and relive some childhood memories. I can highly recommend anyone who wants to do this. You just need to do some work on your computer.
