Okay, so today I wanted to get my hands on that old PlayStation game, Klonoa Beach Volleyball. You know, a bit of nostalgia. And specifically, I was after the European version.

First, I fired up my go-to search engine. Just typed in “download game klonoa beach volleyball psx europe”, you know, keeping it simple. I got a bunch of results, some looking more promising than others.
I started clicking through a few of the top sites. Some were a bit sketchy, with pop-ups and weird ads. I closed those right away. Gotta be careful with that stuff, don’t want any viruses on my computer.
I stumbled upone several results. I spent a bit of time, patiently and carefully compare these results.
After a good bit of searching and clicking around, I finally found a site that seemed legit. No crazy ads, and the download link looked direct. It was a compressed file. I’m pretty familiar with those, so I felt comfortable giving it a shot.
I clicked the download button, and waited. My internet’s not the fastest, so it took a few minutes. Once it was done, I had this .7z file sitting in my downloads folder.
Next, I used 7-Zip to extract the files. I just right-clicked on the .7z file and chose “Extract Here”. Easy peasy. That gave me a folder with a couple of files inside, one was a .bin and the other was a .cue. I knew those were the right files for a PlayStation game image.

Now, I have my emulator,I just needed to load up the game. I opened the emulator, went to the “File” menu, and chose “Run ISO”. Then I just navigated to the folder where I extracted the game and selected the .cue file.
And boom! There it was, the Klonoa Beach Volleyball title screen. It worked perfectly! I played a few rounds, and it was just as fun as I remembered. Brought back some good memories.
So yeah, that’s how I got Klonoa Beach Volleyball running. Took a little bit of searching and some basic file handling, but totally worth it in the end. Mission accomplished!
