Alright, let’s talk about this “tree entertainment” thing. I had this idea, right? I wanted to organize a bunch of events and stuff, all under this one big umbrella. Sounds simple enough, but, boy, was it a journey.
First Steps
First thing I did was just brainstorm. I mean, I jotted down every single idea that popped into my head. No filter, just raw ideas. Then, I started to group them. Like, these ones are about music, these are more like workshops, and so on.
Planning
Next up, the planning phase. This was a beast. I had to figure out venues, dates, how many people I could even handle at each event. I made a bunch of spreadsheets, not going to lie. Color-coded and everything. I even reached out to some local artists and performers to see if they’d be interested in joining.
- Made lists of potential venues
- Contacted local artists
- Created a rough schedule for each event
Promotion
Getting the word out was another hurdle. I designed some basic flyers and posters. Nothing fancy, but they did the job. Then, I went around town, putting them up in cafes, libraries, you name it. I also set up a simple social media page and started posting updates there.
The Events
Finally, the events themselves! The first one was a small concert in a park. I set up a makeshift stage, some chairs, and we were good to go. It was nerve-wracking, but it went pretty well. People showed up, they enjoyed the music, and it felt like a real win. After that, I hosted a series of workshops – painting, writing, even a little bit of coding. Each one had its own challenges, but seeing people engage and have fun made it all worthwhile.
Reflections
Looking back, it was a lot of work. A LOT. But I learned so much along the way. I learned how to organize, how to promote, and most importantly, how to bring people together. Would I do it again? Probably. It was tough, but the feeling of creating something from scratch and seeing it come to life is pretty amazing.
So, that’s my “tree entertainment” story. A bit messy, a bit chaotic, but ultimately, a pretty good experience.
