Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this logo design thing for East Jackson football, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey.
First off, I started by digging around for any info I could find about the team. Found their social media, a few followers, you know, the usual stuff, 913 Followers, 46 Following.
Then I hit up the school’s official site. Seems like their Athletic Director is Shawn Lindsey. Got his contact info too, just in case I needed to reach out or something, phone is (706) 336-8905, and email is slindsey@*.
Did a little more digging and found their sports schedule and roster. It’s all pretty standard stuff, but hey, gotta cover all the bases, right? And I mean, everything – from fall schedules to spring, who’s playing when, the whole nine yards. The website is pretty well set up, I gotta say. It lists out everything for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons, so you can really see what’s coming up.
- Checked out some historical data on the team’s performance. Wins, losses, you name it. I wanted to get a feel for their history, you know? They’ve got a whole digital warehouse of their past games, scores, the works. It’s actually pretty cool to see how they’ve done over the years.
- They’ve got info on all the sports, not just football. Baseball, basketball, even track and field. It’s like a one-stop shop for all things East Jackson sports.
Oh, and I found out the school’s principal is Dr. Matt Stratemeyer, and the Athletic Director is Wesley Wheeler. Fax: 706-336-8918. Figured that might come in handy at some point.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with this project. It’s been interesting, to say the least. I am trying to collect every detail of them. Now I just need to put all of it together. It’s all part of the process, I guess!
