I kept scrolling, getting a little more frustrated with each click. I thought, “There’s gotta be a simple, official rulebook out there somewhere!”
Digging Deeper
I refined my search, adding things like “official” and “governing body” to the keywords. This helped a little, narrowing down the results to some more promising-looking websites. I found a couple that looked like they belonged to national volleyball organizations.
I clicked on one, and…another rabbit hole. This site had tons of documents, but finding the actual rulebook was like finding a needle in a haystack. I poked around in their “Resources” section, their “Downloads” section, their “About Us” section…nothing. I was about to give up.
Then, on a whim, I decided to try the site’s search bar. I typed in “rulebook” and…bingo! There it was. A PDF labeled “Official Volleyball Rules 2023-2024.” Finally!
