Okay, here is my sharing about watching USA volleyball games:
Man, I’ve been getting into USA volleyball lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride! I started by looking up when the games usually happen. I found out that a lot of the club tryouts for younger players, especially girls, are in the late summer and early fall. That’s wild! I saw that there are more than 300,000 girls aged 11-18 who are members of USA Volleyball. They play a ton of club volleyball outside of their regular high school season.
I also wanted to see some live action, so I started following some USA volleyball accounts. There is one account with 62K followers, can you believe it? They post updates and highlights, which is pretty cool.
One post that caught my eye was from August 8, 2024. It talked about a match where Rosamaria made a block, and Brazil started the tie-break 2-1. They mentioned that Ogbu made a mistake, and Brazil was serving. It sounded like a nail-biter! I watched that game from the updates.
Following these updates and seeing the game made me realize how intense and fun volleyball is. It’s super popular here in the U.S., and it’s not just the pros. People of all ages, both guys and girls, are playing.
I wish I could experience it in person. But, I made do with what I had. I will keep following these accounts and watch the games through the updates and highlights. It’s not the same as being there, but it’s still awesome.
- First, I searched for when volleyball tryouts and games happen.
- Then, I followed some popular USA volleyball accounts to get updates.
- Next, I read about specific game highlights, like that intense tie-breaker.
- Finally, I watched the game through the updates and highlights online.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:
It’s been a blast getting into USA volleyball. I can’t wait to catch more games and maybe even see one in person someday!
