Man, I gotta tell you about this whole 2025 NFL draft order thing I’ve been digging into. It’s a mess, but a beautiful mess, you know?

So, I started by looking at the current standings. I mean, who’s winning, who’s losing, and who’s just plain tanking. It’s all about getting those top picks, right? This is the easiest way to grasp the order, so I made a start from here.
Then I got into this whole thing about traded picks. Teams are swapping picks like baseball cards, and it changes the whole order. I had to track down all these trades. Some teams have extra picks, some have less, and it’s all a big puzzle. It took me some time to figure it all out, it was a real headache.
- First, I listed all 32 teams.
- Then, I checked out the current standings to get a rough idea of the order.
- Next, I went through all the trades to see who has extra picks or missing ones.
- After that, I started slotting in the picks, round by round.
I also looked at some mock drafts. These are just guesses, but they give you an idea of who the top players might be. They are not accurate, but they provide you with a thought. You can get to know which player your favorite team may get.
And forfeited picks! Don’t even get me started on those. Teams lose picks for breaking the rules, and that shakes things up even more. I had to factor those in too. I have to say that this part was easy because there isn’t much information about forfeited picks.
What I Found
The Patriots, Panthers, and Browns are all in the race for that number one pick. They are not doing so hot right now, but that could be good news for their future. I guess they are trying to make their team stronger next year.
There’s this quarterback, Cam Ward. Some people think he’s gonna be a big deal, even though he wasn’t considered a top guy last year. It is interesting to see how things change, right?

Anyway, I put together this whole spreadsheet with all seven rounds, all the traded picks, all the forfeited picks, the whole nine yards. I finally put them all together and made them into a clear chart. It took forever, but it’s pretty cool to see it all laid out.
This draft order stuff is wild. It changes every week, and it’s gonna keep changing until the end of the season. But hey, that’s what makes it fun, right?
