Okay, so I got this internship at WME Entertainment, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. First off, I sent out a bunch of applications. I mean, a TON. I polished my resume until it shone, wrote cover letters that I thought were pretty darn good, and hit “send” more times than I can count.
Then came the waiting game. Ugh, the worst. Refreshing my email every five seconds, jumping at every phone notification. Finally, I got an email from WME! They wanted to schedule an interview. I was stoked! I prepared like crazy, researching everything I could about the company and practicing answers to potential interview questions.
The Interview
The interview day arrived, and I was a nervous wreck. I put on my best outfit, trying to look professional but not too stuffy. The interview was with two people from the HR department. They asked me about my experience, why I was interested in WME, and what I hoped to gain from the internship. I think I did okay, but honestly, it was all a blur of adrenaline.

Then, a few weeks later, I got the call! I got the internship! I was over the moon! I couldn’t wait to get started.
The Internship Begins
The first day was a whirlwind of introductions and getting settled in. I met my supervisor, who seemed really cool, and the other interns. Everyone was super friendly. My supervisor gave me a rundown of what I’d be doing, and it sounded exciting!
Daily Grind
My days were packed. I was answering phones, scheduling meetings, reading scripts, and doing a lot of research. I was learning so much about the entertainment industry, and it was fascinating. It was a lot of work, but it was also a lot of fun.
The Cool Stuff
One of the coolest things about the internship was getting to sit in on meetings. I got to see how deals were made and how the whole business worked. It was a real eye-opener. I also got to meet some pretty famous people. I mean, I didn’t really talk to them or anything, but just being in the same room was pretty awesome.

The internship flew by. Before I knew it, it was my last day. I was sad to leave, but I was also grateful for the experience. I learned so much, made some great connections, and had a blast. It was definitely an experience I’ll never forget.
