Today, I decided to take the family out for some fun, and we ended up at the QC Family Entertainment Center. It was a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing. We wanted to get out of the house and do something exciting. The kids were bouncing off the walls, and frankly, so were we!

Getting There
First off, finding the place was a bit of a challenge. We drove around for a good 20 minutes before finally spotting it. It’s tucked away in a little corner of the city, but once we got there, parking was surprisingly easy. There were plenty of spots, which was a relief. I hate driving in circles looking for parking.
First Impressions
Walking in, the first thing that hit us was the noise. It was loud, but in a good way. You could hear the sounds of games beeping, kids laughing, and people just having a blast. The place was buzzing with energy. We saw a bunch of arcade games, a bowling alley, and even a laser tag arena. The kids’ eyes lit up like Christmas trees. They were ready to dive in, and I’ll admit, I felt the excitement too.
Arcade Games Galore
We started with the arcade games. They had everything from classic Pac-Man and Space Invaders to newer racing and shooting games. I got a bit nostalgic playing the old-school games. It brought back some great memories. My kids, on the other hand, were all over the modern games. They spent a good hour just hopping from one game to another. It was great to see them having so much fun. They were collecting tickets like crazy, hoping to win some cool prizes later.
Bowling Fun
After the arcade, we hit the bowling alley. None of us are pros, but that didn’t matter. We grabbed some shoes, picked out our bowling balls, and started playing. There were a lot of gutter balls, but also a few strikes and spares. The kids loved the automated scoring system. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. We laughed a lot, especially when someone would throw a ball and it would go completely off course. It was all in good fun.
Laser Tag Adventure
Next up was laser tag. This was probably the highlight of the day. We put on our vests, grabbed our laser guns, and entered the dark, maze-like arena. The music was pumping, and the lights were flashing. It felt like we were in a sci-fi movie. We split into teams and started hunting each other down. I have to say, running around and shooting lasers at each other was a great way to burn off some energy. We were all sweating by the end, but it was totally worth it.
Snack Break
All that activity made us hungry, so we decided to grab some snacks. The food court had your typical fare: pizza, burgers, fries, and soda. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. The kids were happy with their pizza, and I enjoyed a decent burger. It was nice to sit down, relax, and refuel before heading back for more fun.

Prize Redemption
With our bellies full, it was time for the kids to redeem their arcade tickets. They had a blast picking out prizes. The selection was pretty good, with everything from small toys to bigger items. They ended up getting some candy, a couple of small toys, and a stuffed animal. They were thrilled with their loot, and that made the whole experience even better.
Final Thoughts
All in all, our day at the QC Family Entertainment Center was a blast. It was a great way to spend quality time together as a family. We played games, bowled, shot each other with lasers, and ate some tasty snacks. It was a day filled with laughter and fun. The kids didn’t want to leave, and honestly, neither did I. It was a perfect break from our usual routine, and we’ll definitely be back. It might not be the fanciest place, but it delivered on the fun, and that’s what matters most.
