Okay, so I’ve been trying to get into better shape, and a friend suggested I check out this “Bee Sport” thing. I was like, “Bee what now?” But they swore it was fun, so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly, I was picturing myself covered in honey and running from bees, but thankfully, it wasn’t that at all.

My Bee Sport Journey Begins
First, I had to figure out what it even was. Turns out, it’s a kind of workout class, a mix of, I don’t know, aerobics and…buzzing? Not really, but the movements are kind of quick and energetic, like a bee, I guess.
Finding a Class:
- I Googled “Bee Sport classes near me.”
- Found a few options, surprisingly! One was at a local gym, another was in a park.
- Picked the gym one because, you know, air conditioning.
The First Class – Oh Boy:
I showed up feeling pretty awkward. Everyone else seemed to know what they were doing. The instructor was super enthusiastic, though, which helped. We started with some warm-ups, basic stretches and stuff.
Then the “bee” part started. We did these fast-paced moves, lots of arm movements, like we were flapping wings or something. There was also a lot of bouncing and stepping. I felt like a total goofball at first, but everyone was so into it that I started to loosen up.
The Workout Itself:

- Lots of Cardio: My heart was definitely pumping!
- Some Strength Training: We used light weights for some of the exercises.
- Coordination Challenges: Some of the moves were tricky to get at first, but I got the hang of them eventually.
The Aftermath:
I was sweaty. Like, really sweaty. But in a good way! I felt like I’d actually done something. My muscles were a little sore the next day, but it wasn’t too bad.
Keeping it Up:
I’ve been going to Bee Sport classes for a few weeks now. I’m still not amazing at it, but I’m definitely getting better. And it’s actually kind of fun! I wouldn’t say I’m buzzing with excitement, but I do look forward to it. I even bought some new workout clothes, felt I can flap my wings like others!
I am keep going to next class every week!
