So, I was kinda curious about the Asian Games, right? And I wanted to figure out who’s playing for the India women’s volleyball team. It’s a bit of a mess online, not gonna lie. Lots of different sites, but no single place that just lists it out simply.
First, I started with a basic search. You know, just typed in “Asian Games India women’s volleyball team roster” into the search bar. I found a bunch of articles and news pieces about the team but still had to find a clear roster.
Then, I tried to check the official Asian Games website. But honestly, it was a bit overwhelming. There’s so much information there, it’s hard to find exactly what you need.
I started to going through some sports news sites. I found a couple of articles that mentioned some of the players, but no full roster. It was a bit frustrating, I won’t lie.
Next, I decided to look up the Volleyball Federation of India. Figured they might have the info. Their site is, well, let’s just say it could be more user-friendly. Scrolled through a lot of pages, but couldn’t find a clear roster for the Asian Games.
I dove into some forums and fan pages. Some people were discussing the team, and I even found a few names mentioned repeatedly. But again, it wasn’t official, just fan speculation mostly.
At this point, I thought I’d try social media. Searched for some of the players I’d seen mentioned. Some of them had posted about the Asian Games, which was cool. But still no full roster in sight.
Finally, after piecing together information from articles, social media posts, and forum discussions, I managed to put together a list of players that I think might be on the team. It’s not perfect, and I can’t be 100% sure it’s accurate, but it’s the best I could do.

- Nirmal Tanwar – Kept seeing her name pop up in articles about the team.
- Soorya – Found a few social media posts of her talking about the Games.
- Anushree K P – Her name was in a couple of news pieces, so I’m guessing she’s on the team.
- Jini K S – Seen her mentioned in a forum discussion about the Asian Games squad.
- Shilpa R D – Another player I saw mentioned in passing in a news article.
- Aswani Kandoth – Pretty sure I saw her in a team photo on social media.
- Saranya N S – Another name that came up a few times in articles.
- Suvarna – I think I saw her name on a list of players on the Volleyball Federation’s website, but it wasn’t specifically for the Asian Games roster.
- Jincy Johnson – Saw her mentioned in a fan post about the team.
- Aswathi Raveendran – Her name was on a list I found on a sports blog, but I’m not sure how reliable it is.
- Shaalini Saravanan – Pretty sure she’s on the team, saw a post about her training for the Games.
- Minimol Abraham – Her name popped up a couple of times in news articles as well.
It’s a bit of a puzzle, but hey, that’s what I could gather. Hopefully, the official list will be out soon, and we can see who’s really playing. It’s tough when you just want a simple list and have to dig through so much to get it.
