Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole “a10 preseason basketball poll 2024” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. First off, I started by looking up what’s the word on the street about the 2023-24 Preseason Men’s Basketball Awards. I found some info dated from way back in October, talking about power rankings and stuff.
Then I got into the nitty-gritty. I saw that there are like 6 teams in the top 102 in NET. That’s a lot of good teams in one place! I started looking at specific teams, like the Flyers. Apparently, they’re way ahead of some other teams, like the Saint Louis Billikens and the 2024 co-conference champions. I mean, who saw that coming?
I also checked out what’s up with the Rams. It looks like they’ve got some solid players, and everyone’s saying they’re the favorites for the Atlantic 10. They’ve got this guy, Max Shulga, who’s supposed to be pretty good. And I found some stuff about a player named Reynolds II from Saint Joseph’s University. Seems like he’s a big deal, too, getting all these awards and stuff.
My Process
So here’s how I did all this.
- First, I started with some general searches. Nothing fancy, just trying to get a feel for what people were saying about the preseason stuff.
- Then, I started looking at specific teams and players. I wanted to know who the big names were and what the predictions were looking like. I went through the lists of these 6 teams and noted their core players.
- After that, I dug into some articles and news reports. This is where I found out about the NET rankings and the whole Flyers vs. Billikens situation. I made some comparisons about their performance in the past games.
- Finally, I put it all together. I compared the different sources and tried to get a clear picture of what the preseason polls were saying and who the teams to watch are. I listed out what I found to conclude what I have learned.
It’s been a lot of info to go through, but it’s been pretty interesting. I’m no expert, but it seems like there’s gonna be some good basketball this season. I’m excited to see if these predictions are right!
