Okay, so yesterday I finally decided to get off my butt and check out a Nebraska volleyball game. I’ve heard so much about how insane the atmosphere is, and man, I was not disappointed!

First, I found the schedule online. It was pretty easy. Then I looked for tickets. I opted for a regular season game, figuring it’d be less crowded (and cheaper!) than a championship match.
Getting There and Getting In
I drove to the arena, and parking was surprisingly smooth. I followed the signs, paid the fee, and found a spot without too much trouble. Getting into the arena was a breeze too. I just showed my ticket, walked through security, and boom, I was in!
The Game Itself
The energy in that place was electric! I found a decent seat, not too high up, not too low down. The crowd was already buzzing before the players even came out. When the team ran onto the court, the place went wild!
- I watched the warm-ups. Those girls can hit!
- The first set started, and it was intense.
- I cheered, I clapped, I even yelled a little (okay, a lot).
- Every point felt huge. The back-and-forth was incredible.
The game was great, with Nebraska taking a 3 games to nill Victory!
Between sets, I grabbed a hot dog and a drink. Standard arena fare, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.
Wrapping Up
After the game, I hung around for a bit, soaking in the post-game vibes. People were chatting, laughing, and generally just happy. I walked back to my car, feeling pretty good myself. It was a really fun night, and I definitely plan on going to another game soon. If you’re even a little bit curious, just go! You won’t regret it.
