Summer’s here, and you know what that means – pool time! I wanted to spice things up a bit this year, so I grabbed the Intex Inflatable Pool Volleyball Game. Figured it would be a fun way to get everyone active and splashing around. Let me tell you about how it went down.

Setting It Up
First, I unboxed everything. The set comes with the inflatable volleyball net and an inflatable volleyball. Pretty straightforward. I then grabbed my electric pump – you’ll definitely want one of these, trust me. Blowing this thing up by mouth would take forever!
I found a good spot in the pool where the net would stretch across without being too cramped. The net has these little grommets on the sides, and the set comes with some rope. My pool’s a bit bigger, I tied the ropes to the grommets, and that was to secure it, so there was plenty of extra rope. Then I inflated the net, It took a few minutes with the pump, but it was pretty quick overall. Oh, and I blew up the volleyball too, of course. That was super easy.
Game Time!
With the net up and the ball ready, it was time to play! We divided into teams – it’s more fun with at least four people, but you could probably make it work with two. The net is surprisingly sturdy once it’s inflated and secured. It stayed in place pretty well, even with some enthusiastic spikes and dives.
We played for a good hour, maybe more. It’s a great workout, especially when you’re trying to jump and hit the ball in the water. The inflatable volleyball is soft, so it doesn’t hurt when it hits you, which is a plus, especially for the kids. Everyone had a blast, lots of laughs and splashing.
Packing Up
When we were finally done, I deflated the net. I just opened the air valves, and the air rushed out pretty quickly. I gave it a quick rinse with the hose to get any chlorine off, and then let it dry in the sun for a bit. Once it was dry, I folded it up and put it back in the box. Pretty easy to store.
