Alright, guys, so I’ve been wanting to get back into some volleyball action, but, you know, virtually. I’m not exactly spiking any real balls these days. So I went on a mission to find a decent international volleyball game for my PC – specifically, one that runs on Windows 10. Here’s how that whole adventure went down.
The Search Begins
First things first, I fired up my trusty old search engine. I just typed in something simple like “international volleyball game PC Windows 10”. I mean, straight to the point, right? No fancy words, just what I wanted.
I got a bunch of results, some forum posts, some random websites, a few game listings. It was a bit of a mess, to be honest. I started clicking through, trying to see what looked legit and what looked… well, like it might give my computer a nasty virus.
Weeding Out the Junk
There were a few games that popped up repeatedly. Some were super old, like, “DOS-era” old. I’m pretty sure those wouldn’t even run on my machine without some serious tweaking. I skipped those. Others were clearly mobile games, just ported over to PC. Those usually look… not great. So I passed on those, too.
A game which is named Volleyball World Championship looked cool, there are lots of national teams.
Trying It Out (and Failing)
I finally found a couple that looked promising. One was an indie game that had some decent reviews. I downloaded it, installed it… and it was a total flop. The controls were clunky, the graphics were, uh, “retro,” and it just didn’t feel good to play. It was a letdown, for sure.
Giving Up (For Now)
Honestly, after a couple of hours of searching and trying stuff out, I was pretty much ready to give up. It seems like there just aren’t many good options for international volleyball games on PC. Maybe I’m being too picky, but I was hoping for something at least a little bit modern and fun. So, for now, my virtual volleyball career is on hold. Might have to stick to watching real matches on TV. Or, you know, actually going outside. Maybe.
But there is a way to play volleyball, I find a flash game, just can have two player with the simply keyboard hit.
