Okay, here’s my blog post about checking out Georgia Tech volleyball games, written in a casual, personal style:
So, the other day I was thinking, “I need to get out more!” I live near Georgia Tech, and I’ve always heard their sports games are pretty hype. I decided to finally go see a volleyball game. It sounded like a fun, different thing to do on a weekend.
First thing I did was, obviously, looked up the schedule online. Gotta figure out when the games actually are, right? Found the schedule easily enough – it was right there on the Georgia Tech Athletics website. It showed all the home games, which made planning way easier.
Next, I checked out the ticket situation. I mean, I didn’t want to show up and find out it was sold out or some crazy expensive thing. Turns out, getting tickets was pretty simple. I didn’t buy in advance,I just go the tickets when I was there.
The game day arrived! I just drove over to the campus. Parking can sometimes be a pain around there, but I got lucky and found a spot in a deck not too far from the arena.
Got inside, and man, the energy was great! Lots of students, families, just a really good vibe. The game started, and it was way more exciting than I expected. I’m not a huge volleyball expert or anything, but it’s easy to get caught up in the action. Seeing those spikes and dives in person is totally different than on TV.

Honestly, I had a blast. It was something different, got me out of the house, and I got to see some really impressive athletic skills. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic event, I’d totally recommend checking out a Georgia Tech volleyball game. I’m planning on going back for sure!
