Okay, so today was all about finding the perfect “game day quotes volleyball” for my team. We’ve got a big tournament coming up, and I wanted something to pump us up, get us in the zone, you know?
First, I hit up Google. Just typed in “game day quotes volleyball” and… wow. So many options! Motivational stuff, funny stuff, even some pretty intense quotes. I spent a good hour just scrolling through, saving anything that seemed remotely cool.
Then, I moved over to Pinterest. Pinterest is always great for this kind of thing, because it’s so visual. I found a bunch of quote images, some with cool backgrounds, others with action shots of players. I pinned a whole bunch to a new board I created just for this.
After that, I have created a text and I started brainstorming some of my own. Because sometimes, the best quotes are the ones that come from inside the team, right? I thought about our inside jokes, our team motto, our past victories… trying to capture that feeling in a few words.

Finally, I shared all my finds with the team. Created a group chat and dumped everything in there – the Google finds, the Pinterest pins, my own brainstorms. I asked everyone to vote for their favorites, or even add their own.
It was actually a lot of fun! We ended up with a mix of classic motivational quotes and some personalized ones that really resonated with us. I think we’ve got a good arsenal of words to keep us fired up throughout the tournament. Mission accomplished!
