Okay, so I’ve been hearing a lot about CBD and how it can supposedly help with sports recovery and stuff. I’m always looking for ways to bounce back faster after a tough workout, so I figured, why not give it a shot? This is my little experiment with “CBD Sport”.

Getting Started
First, I did a bit of digging around to see what was out there. It’s kinda overwhelming, all the different products! You’ve got oils, creams, capsules… even gummies. I decided to keep it simple and went with a CBD oil, seemed like the easiest way to control the dose.
My Routine
I started taking a few drops under my tongue after my workouts. I usually do a pretty intense weightlifting session three times a week, followed by some cardio. Man, those muscles get sore! So, after showering and eating, I’d take the CBD oil.
- Workout:Weights + Cardio
- Post-Workout:Shower, Food, then CBD Oil
The First Few Days
Honestly, I didn’t notice much at first. Maybe I was expecting some miracle cure? But my muscles still felt pretty achy the next day. I kept at it, though. Figured it might take some time to build up in my system or something.
Week Two and Beyond
Okay, this is where things started to get interesting. I think I was starting to feel a little less sore. It wasn’t like the pain was completely gone, but it felt…muted? Like, instead of a sharp, throbbing ache, it was more of a dull stiffness. Hard to describe, but definitely a bit better.
The Sleep Factor
One thing I really noticed was my sleep. I’ve always been a bit of a restless sleeper, but after a couple of weeks of using the CBD oil, I started sleeping like a log. Seriously, solid, deep sleep. That alone made a huge difference in how I felt the next day, even before considering any muscle recovery.
My Verdict (So Far)
So, it’s not like CBD magically erased all my muscle soreness, but it definitely took the edge off.

And that improved sleep? Huge win. I’m going to keep using it and see if the effects get even better over time. Might even try a CBD cream for those really stubborn knots in my shoulders.
