Okay, so yesterday I decided to organize some fun volleyball games with my friends. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, so I finally took the plunge!

Getting Started
First, I texted a bunch of friends to see who was interested. I got a pretty good response – about 10 people were in. Sweet!
Next, I needed to find a place to play. Luckily, there’s a park nearby with a sand volleyball court. I called the park to double-check if it was available, and it was! No reservations needed, just show up.
Gathering Supplies
I didn’t have a volleyball, so I ran to the store to grab one. I also picked up some water bottles and snacks – gotta keep everyone hydrated and energized, right?
Setting Up
- I got to the park a bit early to set up the net. It was a little tricky, but I figured it out.
- Then, I drew some lines in the sand to mark the court boundaries. Not perfect, but good enough!
Game Time!
Once everyone arrived, we divided into two teams. We didn’t have official rules or anything, just some friendly competition. We played a few games, switching teams around to keep things interesting.
Honestly, we spent more time laughing than actually playing seriously. There were plenty of missed hits, funny dives, and sand-covered faces. We even made up some silly rules as we went along, like “no spiking unless you yell ‘pineapple!’”

Wrapping Up
After a couple of hours, we were all pretty tired (and sandy!). We packed up the net and cleaned up our trash. Everyone seemed to have a great time, and we already started planning our next volleyball day.
All in all, it was a super fun day. It wasn’t about being perfect or super competitive, just about getting together, moving around, and having a good laugh. I definitely recommend trying it out if you’re looking for a fun, casual activity with friends!
