Yesterday, I decided to make a “colorful sport” thing. I had no idea what I was doing at first, but I just went for it.

Getting Started
First, I grabbed a bunch of different colored yarns I had lying around. You know, the leftovers from old knitting projects and stuff. I had red, blue, green, yellow – the whole rainbow basically.
Then, I found a big open space in my backyard. I needed room to move, and I didn’t want to trip over anything.
The “Sport” Part
This is where it gets kinda weird. I started by tying a piece of yarn to a tree branch. Then, I ran around the yard, wrapping the yarn around other trees, bushes, even the patio furniture!
- I used red yarn for the “high energy” parts, like when I was running really fast.
- Blue yarn was for when I slowed down to a jog.
- Green yarn represented when I did some stretches or yoga poses. Yeah, I threw some yoga in there.
- And yellow yarn was for silly stuff, like jumping jacks or dancing around.
I kept going until I had used up all the yarn. It was a tangled mess, I’m not gonna lie. But it was also kind of cool to see all the colors crisscrossing the yard. It was like a visual record of my “workout.”
The Aftermath
I was out of breath, my dog thought I was totally nuts.
The yard looked like a giant spider had gone * took me longer than the actual workout did.

But hey, it was different, it was colorful, and I got some exercise. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime, but with different colors, or maybe even different materials. Who knows? The possibilities are endless!
